The central tenet of my plan to help lead YDATL as the Vice President in 2019 is to elevate the brand of our organization. Atlanta is a booming metropolis whose trajectory is quickly on the rise – our city is uniquely positioned to become a center of global commerce and culture within the next decade. A premiere city deserves a premiere chapter of Young Democrats, and I will work closely with the new President to ensure YDATL continues to grow into a thriving, prominent organization.
More specifically, I will work closely with the new President to increase our chapter’s presence at the State Capitol during the legislative session; strengthen our relationships with elected officials throughout the city and state; assist the new Social Director in planning engaging events that interest current members and attract new members; and work in tandem with the new President as a brand ambassador for the chapter to solicit interest in new membership.
I look forward to working with the new President to elevate our brand throughout Atlanta, and I humbly ask for your vote so I can serve the chapter as Vice President in 2019.
