About Zach

Zach Nikonovich-Kahn is a nonprofit professional specializing in community engagement, partnership building, and government affairs. He currently serves as the Director of Volunteer Recruitment at Big Brothers Big Sisters, where he is responsible for recruiting adults to serve as volunteer mentors to at-risk children. Previously he served as the Public Policy Advocate for Families First.

Zach is an Atlanta native and he currently serves on the boards of Young Democrats of Atlanta, Red Clay Democrats, Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, Atlanta BeltLine Young Leaders Council, New Leaders Council, and the Feminist Women’s Health Center.
Zach graduated from the University of Georgia, where he majored in History, and he has a Masters degree from Cambridge University, where he wrote his thesis on gender and sexuality in Victorian England.
